Magic Bean Crackers


For 5 dozen(s)

  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) GDL (or substitute cream of tartar)
  • 80 grams Water
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Bicarb Soda
  • 80 grams Oil (Sunflower, Canola)
  • 160 grams Magic Bean Flour (Besan/Chickpea Flour)
  • 0.25 teaspoon(s) Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Mix the oil, salt and water in a large bowl.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Press the dough onto 1 or 2 pieces of glad bake to a thin layer and cut into rectangles and then into triangles with a knife..
  5. Bake for 10 minutes and recut the squares. Bake for a further 5-10 minutes or until browned.
  6. Cool on tray before removing. Store in an airtight container.
